Data usage

Your data usage,
answered.

Dataly is a data usage monitor for mobile data and Wi-Fi. It keeps a daily and monthly record on each device you own, and adds your devices together so the whole picture is in one place.

The questions it answers.

How much have I used today?

Today's total, split into Wi-Fi and mobile data, updated as you use it.

Am I on track for the month?

A running monthly total you can hold up against your plan, and a daily average to see where it is heading.

Which device used it?

Pair the phones and computers you own and see each one's usage side by side, with the combined total on top.

Which app used it?

On Android and Mac, a list of apps ordered by how much data they used. On iPhone, your phone's own Settings shows this.

Was yesterday unusual?

Every day is kept, so a heavy day stands out against the week around it.

Will I run out?

Set a daily limit and Dataly tells you when you pass it, instead of finding out when the bundle ends.

Mobile data and Wi-Fi, kept apart.

Mobile data is usually what you pay for by the gigabyte. Wi-Fi is often a shared home plan with its own cap. Dataly tracks both and keeps them separate, so you know which allowance you are spending.

The numbers come from your device's own counters, the same ones the operating system uses, rather than guesses.

Built for the question your phone's settings can't answer.

Your phone can tell you what your phone used. It can't tell you what your laptop used on the same hotspot, or which device in the house is working through the Wi-Fi plan.

Dataly pairs the devices you own over your local network. Each one reports its own daily totals to the others, so from any of them you can see which device is actually using the connection. How pairing works

See it on your own devices.

Dataly shows your daily and monthly data use on each device you own, and adds them up in one place.
